Stayed here recently when on an week visit and found it to be immaculate, ornate, and very well trained staff. I checked in one day late due to a flight cancellation arriving just in time for my business appointment, was somewhat stressed and completely exhausted. Everything about how I was treated under these unique circumstances at the hotel speaks volumes about the atmosphere being a welcomed blend of professionalism and a human touch. The room was incredibly clean and very comfortable. Although I did not make use of the pool and fitness centre, both provided an ambience that makes visitors feel not only welcomed but included. The wine tasting social each evening and watching the lobby television with other guests and some staff added to that sense of being included into the community of Mission Valley rather than just being there on a visit. Great customer service, great location to the airport and most of all great people. Aaron, Antonette and Alexis in addition to the other members of the staff make this property stand out better than the others. The hotel is also close to entertainment, shopping and the Trolley line which gives guests lots of options of what to do once you are settled!

The "S" did not live up to our exspectation. We don't travel that much however the room for the price was to little for 3 people-advertized for 4. Paying $22 a night for parking, being asked to park in another place other than what you were initially told due to a wedding was a bit insulting especially because it was so far away for my wife to walk.

Nothing special. Good mattress/pillows. Carpet needs cleaning and ceiling above shower needs to be painted after obvious repair. I expected more from Sheraton. City view offers a lot of freeway noise. I recommend opting for the mountain view instead. The nice surprise was NO PARKING FEE.

  • Worst hotel bed I have ever slept on

Great location, 14 dollars per day parking charge however there were adequate spaces. the bed was a joke. it had a large valley with 2 peaks on each side.

This hotel is truely a jewel in an area with many mediocre hotels. We were looking for a hotel that was easily accessible, in a good area, close to the San Diego attractions, and was above average on accomodations. This hotel truly delivered. There are many other hotels in this area, and from the outside, it looks just like the rest of them. But this hotel is definitely much more luxurious than any in the area. This hotel offers a luxury experience just like the hotels in the Gaslamp district, but at around half the price, and is only a few miles away. Sea World is just down the highway. And access to the hotel is easy from the interstate. There is a very large mall and shopping area just across the highway. There, you can find plenty of restaurants and bars. There are also a few 24 hour breakfast places down the street. The only downsides that we found were that you do have to pay the hotel for parking. At the time of our stay it was around $14 per night. It's odd to me that they even have a gated/paid parking as there is absolutely nothing else in the immediate area that competes for parking spaces. And they have more than enough parking for all of the hotel guests. There are also other various fees that the hotel charges that you must plan for with your visit. The other issue is the pool area is outdoors and closes early (which is not usually what you find in a more luxurious hotel such as this).
