just returned to norcal from a trip home to see family - and finally got to stay at the ritz. hotel is incredible, facilities beautiful, had traditional nola meals in mbistro restaurant that were on point. it was nice to have afternoon drinks in the courtyard, despite the humidity, walk out the front door and catch the streetcar or the backdoor and be in the french quarter. i enjoyed being in my hometown EVEN more, having stayed at the ritz. incredible service/great location - will definitely be back in NOLA...will look forward to the comfort that the ritz provides!

Everything about this hotel was divine! From the moment we arrived, the staff were kind and accommodating. The location is right in the center of everything you could possible want to see or do. And the beds were the icing on the cake! These are the most comfortable beds I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. Our only question is how soon can we go back!

We were looking for a romantic getaway and found it at this hotel. Wow! My hubby ordered a rose turndown and had champagne waiting in the room when we got there. Every time we encountered a staff member they greeted us with a big smile and it was really genuine. They were all helpful, from the valet parkers to the concierges and wait staff. Our room was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. It was the perfect backdrop to a memorable getaway. The hotel is on the edge of the French Quarter, so we didn't even need a car. We walked everywhere! We'll be back!!

I book into what is called an "executive suite" which appears to mean I had two TVs and a guest bathroom. An executive is not bringing the family or having guests up to his room, so the amenities are useless. The rate was comparable to what average people pay for a month in such small quarters. To really make me mad, check-in is 4pm and you have to be out by 12 noon. You don't even get 24 hours for your money. If you have money to burn and don't worry about costs, why not splurge and pretend you are special "at the Ritz?"
