Important Hotel Information
- This hotel requires guests to provide a valid credit card in order to check in.
- Please note that there is a 15 per night, per room resort fee (recovery fee), which will be collected directly by the hotel at check-in. This fee includes use of the following: wireless Internet, airport shuttle, local phone calls up to 15 minutes and cocktail hour.
- The hotel offers complimentary drinks nightly from 7pm to 8pm for all guests (well drinks only). In addition, the hotel also offers a daily complimentary airport shuttle to and from Miami International Airport on a fixed schedule. Please note that beginning 10/1/09, the airport shuttle from Miami International Airport will continue to offer complimentary pick up from the airport to Whitelaw Hotel . Drop off back to the airport will now be charged by the property at 7 per person. Hotel is not responsible for missing a flight due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or mechanical problems with the shuttle.

So, it took us over an hour and a mile's walk to get the free shuttle at the airport. When we finally got to the hotel, they wouldn't let us check in until 3, and this was at 1:30. We sat around waiting for service at their cafe which took another hour to get some food. The waiter never even took our drink order. After we got our food, the hotel manager told us that the hotel was overbooked and he was "Upgrading" us to a better property for the night. What a joke! He sent us to an apartment complex nowhere near the beach or any restaurants! Plus the hotel has no pool. I am very disappointed with this situation and can't recommend the Whitelaw to anyone!!!

I had a leak above the door by the bathroom which was right next to the TV, and we had to call a few tikes to have someone come check it out. Besides that, I didn't really like the chandelier right above my bed. But besides that the hotel was cool.

enjoyed my night stay. their decor is very modern and trendy. offered valet. room was clean and nice. very close to the beach which is a plus so you don't spend on a taxi or drive around too much. would go back and stay another weekend.
