I would consider staying here again, but would have to think about it first. The room wasn't very clean and we were put in a smoking room when requested a non smoking room. Also the walls are very thin so you can hear everything going on in the hall. The outside area was nice and had good access to the beach.

we got very good service- what we didn't like was corrected- we had requested 2 double beds and got one king- next night we had 2 couble beds. also a complimentary breakfast- they were very accomodating and allowed us a later check out with no fee. Rooms were clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. Nice pool and great access to beach. Would defiinitely recomment this hotel- this was my 2nd stay there. Nice location to everything.

Would not go back.Very dated(70's/80's)My son asked me how to operate the shower.He had never seen the dated plumming in his lifetime.As I looked at the set up it brought back my childhood.No fan in the bathroom,small,small room, nasty carpet, cheap furnishings.Ice machine directly across our door,convenient but lame and noisy! Only positive was its on the beach,and I did hear they are trying to give it a face lift.GOOD LUCK! Staff was nice.

The wife and I enjoyed a few days here in January 2010. A lot of the complaints I see here are unwarranted. Expecting beachfront luxury in SOBE for something less than $* a night is nuts. Sure our "standard" room (not "superior") was small but it was clean, comfortable and on the beach! We would recommend it to anybody with a budget in mind. More stars? Tthe Ritz-Carlton just a block south! There was also a mixup with our reservation. We arrived 3 nights after booking but the front desk had no reservation--and no rooms! A problem with the hotel management! But the staff were quite polite and got us a room at a nearby sister hotel for the first night. We adjusted the charges later. How many businesses admit a problem a and then fix it for you?? My advice: Book early and call the hotel front desk to confirm that they are expecting you!

Would not stay again-Very old rooms!
01/24/2010The room we were given was occupied by 2 people in bed!! the 2nd room had no people init, but all of their belongings!! the 3rd room's toilet overflowed!! ...
The room we were given was occupied by 2 people in bed!! The 2nd room had no people init, but all of their belongings!! The 3rd room's toilet overflowed!! Need I say more! the positive thing I can say is that the front desk staff was very nice!! We were upgraded to a suite, but the water pressure was a mere dribble--had to squat in the tub and bath that way!! I definitely would stay somewhere else next time!!
