My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights while she attended the FIDM 2012 debut show. I did a lot of research to find the best hotel for a value. It was a great choice. We arrived at 1:00 am and the 24 hr. front desk was obviously open and the attendant was friendly. There is a free parking lot where we easily found a spot. The rooms are accessible only by entering through the lobby which is monitored by video and the attendant. The room keys are reprogramed every day for safety. There are 3 floors accessible by stairs or elevator. The hotel is easy to spot on Sunset Blvd minutes from Dodgers Stadium. The room was clean and spacious with a table and chairs and one king bed. The bathroom had a blow dryer and shampoos and soaps... My only complaint was the bed and pillows weren't as comfy as I'd like but nothing to keep me from staying there again. The continental breakfast was satisfactory for us (bagels, danish, cream cheese and jellies, cereals and milk, coffee and juice).

The bad: Room smelled of urine. It was the last room available so we had no choice but to open the windows and make the best of it. Room refrigerator did not work and it was late so the hotel could not fix the problem or replace it. The only ice machine in the hotel was out of service. Wireless internet signal was very weak on the 3rd floor. The room we had was facing the street and was fairly noisy (even with the window closed). The good: The queen size beds were good and firm. A/C worked well. Furnishings were relatively new and not worn out. Room size was larger than typical. Off street parking lot was close and there were plenty of spaces.
