    I usually stay at this hotel and was surprised to see the upgrades they have done since last year in the rooms, new everything, furniture, bathroom--. Also, they added a very nice cafe in the Lobby where you can grab a quick healthy meal for a reasonable price

    We thought this was a great value for Chicago. We enjoyed our stay, and will most definitely stay again if the price is that good. We were somewhat disappointed that we did not have free wireless, however.

    This hotel is beautiful. The beds were wonderful. You never heard any doors slamming shut or any children running up & down the hallways. The gift stores in the lobby had unique items, that were reasonably priced. The rooms were a little overheated and this hotel doesn't offer a free shuttle. Unless you're young and in great shape, plan on taking taxi's! Being on Michigan Ave doesn't necessarily make you "close" to everything. Water Tower Place is at the opposite end of Michigan Ave!
