We stayed at Warwick for 5 nights. The location is really great, within walking distance to many places (5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, Time Square, Moma etc), but the room was quite small over looking wall with windows from another rooms. We asked for a quiet room and it IS a quiet room but no view. The bed was pretty comfortable but the fan was loud. It's really a choice of being comfortable with a loud fan or muggy room (NYC was very muggy when we're there even though it's only May). Then, they fan didn't work properly on the 3rd night and we told the front desk the next morning. They promised to fix it, but when we're back to our room it still didn't work properly. We arrived quite late and really tired that night from touring around so we just sucked it up. So we had 2 nights with a fan that was loud AND didn't work properly. We told the front desk when we checked out. She apologized, but who knows whether the next guest would face the same problem we had. For what we paid, we should get better service than that.

This was my first trip to New York and I had so much to see and do. The hotel and their staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. We will recommend this hotel to all our friends and will stay there again. The food was excellent in the restaurants and room service was prompt and very good.

I was aware that the hotel was old, but the room was smaller than I thought, the view from the window was an old brick wall. Walls were scuffed and marked. Bathroom sink had some black mold around it. Not what I expected for its star rating and price.
