Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Royal Sonesta. If you want a prime French Quarter location, this is your place. The rooms were very roomy compared to many of the other hotels in the area. Our only complaint was the hot water not getting hot for showers or baths.

Our stay was wonderful. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean, beds comfortable and very nice. I would strongly suggest this hotel to anyone looking for a classy place - off the craziness of Bourbon street.

It had been over 5 years since we had been to New Orleans and we were very happy to see that the hotelwas better than ever. It would be hard to find a more helpful staff anywhere. Everyone was very helpful and you truely felt at home in this Grand Hotel.

We were very satisfied with the Royal Sonesta. It was our 2nd stay here. While there were many services available, we were able to self-park and carry our own bags to our room without a valet or bellman being pushy. The room was very nice.

We did not enjoy the hotel. I found Hotel Montaleone and the Marriott to be the best hotels we have stayed at so far. To close to Burbon street, beds were not comfortable, and the waiter in dinning room was very rude. When I go to New Orleans I expect hospitality and pampering. You should expect no less. I live in mobile and travel to New Orleans often.
