    Right in the center of Waikiki and directly on the beach. Walking distance to lots of activities, restaurants and shopping. Two good restaurants right in the hotel as well as Duke's bar and restaurant with a breakfast buffet on the beach level. Pool is small but the beach is right there. Friendly staff and rooms are kept clean.

    The hotel was very clean. The staff was always friendly. The hotel is right in the middle of all the action. It is located right on the beach, so no need for a car. It is just steps to the ocean. There are restaurants located right in the hotel, which is very nice for convenience. Andrea at the activities desk was fabulous with helping us plan our excursions! We were able to get a hospitality room to shower in before our late flight home on our check out day. That gave us additional time at the beach before going home. The staff offered us the room with no hesitation. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!

    The best vacation ever. Walk out one door right to the beach, out the opposite door straight to shopping, restaurants and public transportation. I would go back again anytime. We ate at all three restaurants in the hotel and all were excellent. We especially liked Dukes for its casual atmosphere and great views of Waikiki beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

    This was my moms dream trip. My mom is wheelchair bound so we had a handicap accessible room. I am going to say the staff went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. We always felt welcomed and special. The rooms were so nice, comfortable and inviting. We never heard any neighbors, I understand the facility was full. The staff was always chearful and eager to assist. The hotel amenities were great. Laundry facilities clean. The hotel has activities but we could not participate since we were always busy. We had a rental car for the entire stay. The valet service was prompt, a joy and very helpful. Access to the beach was right there. Pool chairs always available. Pool staff were always helpful. We cruise alot and felt this stay was comparable and better than cruising.

    The day manager, an Asian lady, turned me off when I complained about the cumbersome ID check when eating at the Barefoot Bar and Dukes. They need a drivers license, room # and then depart to check/phone to make sure you are registered. It takes up to 15 min. when wait persons are busy. This needs to be fixed, streamlined but the manager basically told me with a smile it wasn't going to change and dismissed me like I was some kind of pest. It really was a turn at a nice property where my wife and I have stayed six times before and felt I had earned a position to make a constructive criticism. Rooms are great, bed is very comfortable and all else is good, great value for the money. But dump the paid Internet in the business center. No hotel on the mainland would dare charge for Internet access these days. All hotels in Hawaii do this and it needs to be changed.
