I've been going to this hotel off an on since the '70's. I once saw them filming "Harry O" here, in the 70s....it's just a very dated property in a good location, overpriced food, indifferent service and not worthy of the Marriott name these days....average at best. It's convenient to downtown L.A. though and since we were going to USC for commencement it worked fine....ok for overnights....again the staff was very indifferent, some struggled to speak or smile, but having lived in SoCal for 40 years, we were used to it.....not sure how the first time visitors would take it.....the end.

My fiance and I stayed during a quick trip to Los Angeles. We were very impressed with the location, the ammenities inside the hotel (a Starbucks was a great way to start our mornings), and room. The pool & hot tub were our favorite parts... large, warm and impressive. Two thumbs up!

As you'd expect with most Marriott hotels, this one provides friendly and efficient service. The room was clean and modern, but the room was surprisingly small and lacked any notable character. Really not too much to recommend it except for the location and price.
