    This is the ONLY place I will stay in Orlando aside from the Westgate in Kissimmee, and it's the only place I stay when I know that I'm going to Halloween Horror Nights. I have never once had an issue with the staff, management, or rooms. The staff is always friendly. If ever I have had an issue, I didn't even have to go to the management; the hotel staff at the front desk took care of it, and I never even had to leave my room. I have always been able to check in at least 4 hours ahead of when check in time is scheduled, my room is ALWAYS clean and cozy, and never once have I had to ask staff to bring me anything. They knock on my door and ask me if I need anything. If my "DO NOT DISTURB" sign is up, the housekeeping staff has always left me fresh towels, a fresh baked cookie, and a sweet note letting me know to sit my dirty linens outside the door and they will pick them up, and that if I need my bed changed to call the front desk. The restaurants and bar are always clean (they proudly display scores from the Health Department of 98-100), and they serve great food and drinks at an affordable price. My husband and I are honeymooning in Orlando in October, and this where we plan on staying.

    My stay at the Double Tree was great! Staff was very friendly, the room was absolutely wonderful and the hotel was just at the entrance of Universal Studios like the ad said. I was on the 11th floor and could look out my window and see the roller coasters. There was a parking fee.

    Bad first impression. No valet, no bell service and nobody at the reservation desk in a timely manner. To add insult to injury, $16 for parking. If you stay across the street at the Holiday Inn, which I have, you pay nothing. The web sercice is very suspect if you're a business traveler

    We reserved a king size room. When we got there they said none was available, some friends who decided the day before to join us for my wife's birthday and arrived 4 hours after we did, got a king size. We are over 6 feet tall and my feet were over the bed. The air conditioner kept cutting off at night. The complimentary shuttle to the city walk went once at 6:15 PM, we missed it. they had taxi's set up to take you, the cost was twice as much as the regular city taxi that took us back. The web site promised one pass to city walk, we didn't get that. We had no receipt placed under our door in the morning, after waiting in line for 20 minutes i was told that our card was already charged on line and no receipt was available. I do a lot of traveling and stay in a lot of hotels, this hotel said by their total lack of caring that they do not want me back.
