My husband and I stayed here in Mar 2012 for 3 nights. We were very happy with our selection and would absolutely stay here again. It is pricey, but our room was very spacious, the staff very helpful, the bar was really fun, and was a great location to stay in. Highly recommend this hotel.

For my husbands 50th birthday, we arrived early at the Mayfair after flying all night from the US. We knew that check-in was much later, but they were able to accomodate us after lunch. The first room was nice, but did not have a great view. When I discussed this with with the front desk, they responded positively and found another room for us with a GREAT view! We enjoyed the neighborhood, and walked all over. Between the awesome location, excellent service, and peaceful accomodations we fell in love with the Mayfair and will return!

The hotel was very conveniently located in the center of Mayfair. Taxis were always available. The bar was rather expensive (not unusual for a downtown hotel). There was a casino adjacent which offered less expensive food and drink but was a bit of a hassle to get in and out of. Our room had a king size bed, which my travel agent said was not availabe in England. The furnishings were pleasant, cleaned daily and the bed even turned down each night. The concierge was very knowlegable and helpful. We ate at two 5 star restaurants, each a long walk or a short cab ride from the hotel; Le Boudin Blanc (French) and Veeraswami (Indian.) Both casual and not expensive for Mayfair. We would definitly recommend the Mayfair and would stay again.
