Excellent stay!

I looked into many hotels in San Francisco. The Prescott was at the top of the list. I arrived to find the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The elevator was a little small but hey, I wasnt there for the elevator! The room was spacious and well equipped with great electronics such as the flat screen t.v. (42" I believe) and even a Ipod/Iphone compatible alarm clock. The negative thing I can say is that my room faced the street which can be quite noisy on the weekends. Ask for a room towards the back of the hotel. In all, great place to stay. I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Free wine at 5 was great but I wish SF hotels would make the free wine happy hours at least two hours...By the time people show up the happy hour is winding down. I would definitely stay again. Great location and clean room. This hotel is easily on my list for location, price and convenience. Easy access from SFO and Bart.

Great location near all public transportation, great restaurants, and close to the mall and other high end stores, as well as convenience stores. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and always welcoming. My only disappointment is the room was a bit small; however, since I spent most of my time out touring the sites, that was soon forgotten as soon as I got back to the room, falling asleep in the comfortable bed! Overall, the room and hotel are quaint, and would definitely stay there again.
