    The location could not be better. The staff, particularly Randy (housekeeper) were very friendly. The room could use some updating. Carpet is worn. Internet was down for 1 1/2 days. After speaking with tech services three times, the engineer figured out it was the connection to the room.

    I read numerous reviews of this hotel and had some concerns. This was my 12th visit to Waikiki and I have stayed at a number of the higher rated hotels and I loved this place. Check in was easy and fast--even at 4:30 in the afternoon. Had a king room which was superior to the double room that I saw. Extremely clean and could see no needed improvements. Housekeeping was fantastic and extremely friendly. Looked forward to seeing them in the hall. Now, this is far from a 5 star room, but really good for a hotel of that size and age. Very comfortable, clean, and no regrets. Bathroom was clean and decent sized. I saw complaints about lack of dresser space. I found the shelves in the closet more than adequate and not annoying. Bed was great. Had two people in an ajoining room and never heard them. Infinity pool was why i chose this hotel and I was not disappointed. The kids pool with waterslides is great for adults also. The lobby is huge with many people and shops but things move along great. I never had an issue with elevators being too busy and I was there when the hotel was mostly full--last 2 weeks of January. This is a large hotel so expect people. My only complaints would deal with the bartenders at The Edge bar--their service is horrible---seem not to care at all--was the same other years when I stopped there.. Totally opposite of the Beach Bar at the Westin Moanna where they go out of their way to serve you. The wait staff at The Edge is slow, but they really try to serve you. When I arrived at the hotel there was no one to help with luggage. I had to pull it with me thru check in. All in all, a very good chance i will stay here when I go back next year.

    I loved the location of the hotel. plenty of shopping, restaurants and beautiful views. christmas decorations were everywhere adding to the festivities.

    i had a reservation for a oceanfront king. When I went to check in I was told they were sold out and could have a double or for a "little more money" they could upgrade me to a larger room with a king bed. A little more was a couple of hundred a night. I called the hyatt down the street, they sent a car to pick me up,gave me the room I wanted and I was a happy camper. In today's world it is not that hard to update your website. The fact that the Sheraton is too lazy to do so makes you wonder what else they're too lazy to do. I will make a point to let all my friends know to stay away from the Sheraton
