We read the reviews and all the postive ones were spot on!!!!! The staff espically housekeeping was great. The staff keeps the property in superb shape. They are always cleaning. The one thing we noticed all around the beach is the lack of numerous free live preformances that we saw three years ago. Only negative is having to pay for in the in room safe which we didn't.

We stayed there in March for 5 days and had a wonderful time !! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We had pick up and delivery at the hotel for our excursions that couldn't have been any easier. Room service was great and we can hardly wait to do it again !!!!

This was my sister and I's first visit to Hawaii (18-24 age bracket) and I must say the Hilton Hawaiian Village was beautiful. There are shopping resorts and eating places around the resort which was nice, but it was huge! And the hotel is on a man-made beach.. you can tell by all the little rocks and the sand doesn't feel as soft as if you were to go towards the "pink hotel" which was the Prince something hotel (which I would recommend staying at bc it's in the middle of everything from shopping strips and food places) The Hilton has 4 (i believe it's 3 or 4) Towers.. To get the full ocean experience and a look at Diamond Head (which is the volcano, absolutely beautiful) I recommend paying extra to get those views. The weather was amazing, the sun comes up around 7 every morning and sets at 7 every evening. I do have to warn you that everything in Hawaii around Wakiki beach is expensive so get ready to pay some $$. *dollar Pina coladas, 180-240 to swim w/dolphins, 100 to go snorkeling; per person. Room service was quick in response to anything we wanted.. but when I go back to visit I'm definitely going to stay at the Prince Hawaiian Village "the pink hotel". That hotel has a great location, right on the beach, and a beautiful view of diamond head.

Although the description of this hotel includes the word village, I was not expecting such enourmous grounds. What a great surprise! This hotel has everything from a Starbucks to a Louie Vatton store as well as a discount market. One of the perks for me, was the penguin pond. I had no idea penguins could survive in such warm climates. My husband and I made it a point to say good morning to these little guys every day. For those of you who plan to visit the hotel, I would strongly recommend a room in the Rainbow tower. This is where we stayed. Every morning we opened our sliding glass door, stepped out onto the balcony and saw the beach and Diamond Head right before us. This was a nice treat

we spent 6 nights there over Spring break 2010.Wonderful room in the Tapa tower, clean, big and with a ocean view- we only paid for a garden view room. The resort has everything you will need for your stay. The grounds were beautiful as was the pools and beach. The food was very overpriced(as ia all of hawaii)but there are cheaper places with in a 5 min walk or 5-10 min city bus ride. The Bus is right out front and is very clean and easy to use.All major tour buses stop right at the hotel for tours, lualu's ect.We had a late flight out and spent the day at the beach and used a hospitalty room provided by the hotel to shower before we left for the airport.Staff at the hotel is very nice and helpfull. We arrived on Sat evening and there were proms and a military dance at the hotel.Wonderful free music near our room at night. Many expensive shops for souviners but if you take the bus to the Ala Monia center Walmart is a few blocks from there- same things much cheaper. Also take the bus to the International Market for many good deals.Beautiful hotel. I would love to stay there again.
