    This was our second visit to the Hawaiian Hilton Village. We absolutely love this place. It is so convenient for families. The flexibility to walk around and go to many different pools and restaurants is fabulous. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Our kids loved the waterslides. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place highly!!

    I had never been to Hawaii before and was looking ot make the most out of my first trip there. I choose the Hilton Hawaiian Village based on the ratings of other people and the pictures. Let me tell you I was very impressed. The pictures and the reviews did not do it justice. The hotel was fabulous. The room was great. The service was great. There was plenty of stuff to do while at the hotel and it was close to everything. I did not have a car while I was there so the fact the the hotel had a great number of activities and a prime location made it an even better trip. I would recomeend this hotel to anyone. This is a great place to have a vacation.

    The location of this resort is excellent, right on Waikiki Beach, walking to great shops and resturants. Village feel within resort is great, convience store, various levels of restaurants, art galleries etc. provide a very welcoming ,convient vacation destination. Rooms provide wonderfull views and accomodations. This was our second time here and will stay again.

    We spent this past Christmas in Hawaii, at Hilton Hawaiian Village, and as first timers to the islands we had a great time. This hotel has a huge complex of stores, restaurants, activities and a nice beach, so we stayed "on campus" the entire time of our stay, except once to go have authentic Hawaiian breakfast across the street. There are convenience stores inside, along with every kind of food you want, italian, japanese/sushi, noodles, american, buffet, tropical bars, and an ice cream shop. We spent the first two days just exploring the grounds, it was so fun. The resort is very clean and there are service people everywhere. When we checked in, we got a discount card that we used at all the stores to get discounts and free items. The items were pretty good and did not require a purchase, such as picking up a free full size coconut lotion at the spa. We appreciated these things because it was fun to get free stuff without feeling pressured to buy anything. On our third day we went to the beach, it is very nice and clean. We rented beach chairs for $15 a piece and a fun innertube to float around in for $10 a day. The ocean area is shallow and safe to swim in, and we swam out to the little reef there to sit and relax in the sun. Our room was in the Diamond Tower, it was very close to the center of the resort so we never had to walk far to go eat or shop. The pools are nice, there is a big one near the beach and then a smaller one, near our Tower. We went to both pools on different days. The smaller pool is nice because it's quieter, so if you want to read a book there, that is the place to go. Attached to the resort is a row of upscale shops, like Louis Vuitton and Fendi, we liked the convenience of the stores being nearby. Our room was supposed to be a garden view but the man at the front desk was so nice, he upgraded us for free to an ocean view room, so we got to wake up every day to the ocean, I was really happy about that. The room service was timely and very clean. We booked one of the snorkeling day trips, the price was very reasonable for two people, and the boat took off right at the resort near the beach so we didn't have to leave the grounds. They took us to a turtle reef and we got to swim with the sea turtles, it was amazing. The Christmas day buffet we had at the Rainbow Lanai was the best buffet dinner I have ever had. They had an unlimited supply of fresh crab legs, I think combined between the two of us we polished off at least 15 or 16! LOL...we are from California so we eat seafood but this was really a special treat. Overall we loved our vacation and we look forward to it again. I recommend this hotel highly for couples.

    The HHV Ali'i tower is an excellent place to stay if you have children in the 8-13 year old bracket. The tower exclusive pool and hot tub is a big hit with the kids and the adults when you stay in the Ali'i tower. You can watch the kids swim as you work out at the gym if you like. The Ali'i tower is the closet to the beach and the super pool and is convenient to walk to anyplace in Waikiki. The ocean front room was beautiful and well taken care of. Food at HHV is very expensive so I would look for alternatives if you are traveling with children but the food quality is excellent at Tropics if you want a special night out for the adults.
