    No hot water...took 5 minutes to get luke warm water. rooms very average, nothing special for the high price. will stay elsewhere next time.

    Very comfortable and quiet room at HHV. It's an insanely busy hotel - people everywhere - tour groups, high school groups, little kids. Crowds everywhere. Food at hotel restaurants overpriced for the quality, but then again, you pay for the convenience of eating on site. What turned me off was $15 to rent a lounge chair for the beach (per person), and $30 for an umbrella. No waitress service at the Tapa pool, and the bar there never seemed to be open to get something for myself. However, when at the Super Pool, when the waitress brought me the wrong drink, she let me keep what she brought, then returned with my original order and waived the charge to make-up for it. Also, no free Wi-Fi. Bring your iPad with 3G or pay $$ each day. I eventually grew weary of being 'nickled and dimed' on every little thing. Overall it's a first rate facility. Very clean and comfortable. Great if you're with a group or family vacation. For two adults wanting to relax, it's just too crowded.

    We were only in Hawaii for 3 days, and we probably could have spent the whole time at our hotel. It has it's own lagoon, and is at the less busy end of Waikiki beach, which was just wonderful! The rest of the beach line was super busy...but not near our hotel! There are also plenty of shops in this resort and a few decent places to eat. They have a great Luau, but it's a little expensive ($100 per person). However, you can get free tickets if you participate in a 2 hour timeshare presentation. But it was worth it...the food and show at the Luau is awesome! The ONLY bad thing I can say about this place is that all the bars and food places close by 11:00. This is a bummer since we wanted to stay out all night, but there was nothing to do this late. But other than that minor annoyance...I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! You will not regret staying here!

    The Hilton was clean and the views are gorgeous. I was there for a convention so it was a convenient 10-15 minute walk to the center. The overall layout is a bit cheesy/Disney which would be great if you have kids. If you're a couple and looking for something a little more low key and less in your face, the Sheraton down the road (which I stayed at for vacation) might be more your speed.

    This was the best place for our honeymoon. We didn't even need to leave the resort if we didn't want to they had everything on site! We did excusions everyday and the conceriege set everything up for us and we were picked up in the morning and dropped right off after we were done! Excellent and we can't wait to come back!
