    The Hilton Hawaiian Village is the nicest place on Waikiki as far as location, views, facilities and overall experience. It is the only true resort in Waikiki with multiple towers, multiple pools, shopping, restaurants, bars all in one location. The beach area is semi-private maintained immaculately for resort guests. The Rainbow tower building is located on the edge of the beach with Waikiki's best view of Diamondhead and ocean. There are koi ponds, penguin and turtle pools, lush tropical plant settings, outdoor bars, and waterfalls unlike the other major hotels. Hotel is a long walk away from main shopping streets of Waikiki but that is a positive to be away from crowds, noise and allows for a pleasant walk along beach to get to those shops. Always enjoy my stays at the Hawaiian Village.

    Hotel was fabulous. Great trip would recommed to anyone. Food at the Hotel is really expensive but restaurants around the hotel are about the same as anywhere else. The hotel is within walking distance of the restaurants malls and shops. Great beach at the hotel. Everything you need you can get from the resort.

    The hotel has everything. The "village" location makes it possible to never leave the property and still get some variety of restaurants and a good bit of shopping, so it was good for our quick trip. Within walking distance of the Waikiki night life and shops. The hotel's beach and pools are much quieter than typical Waikiki. We appreciated a room upgrade.

    The hotel was beautiful. Shaded walkways, benches, and plenty of beachfront and water! Just don't eat at the resort! All the meals were extremely overpriced - even for Hawaii. And the quality of the food was average at best. Stay away from the breakfast buffet restaurant unless you have the voucher. We paid $* for 4 people. My two girls only ate a bowl of fruit each! There was no menu, and none of the staff volunteered the price of the breakfast. Go across the street. Go a few streets away from the hotel. You will find reasonably priced restaurants with much better food. Also, if you're allergic to feather pillows, beware! All the bedding is feather! Make sure you ask for non-allergenic pillows and comforters! Ask them to completely vacuum the room! If you get sick, the closest true drug stores are about 2 miles away each!
