    Had a great time at the Hotel Hilton, the customer service was great, the beds were fantastic but that might be because I just left from Iraq. My son and I spent 6 nights there we had a garden view room reserved when we got there we were upgraded to a ocean view,, loved the view. My son is 14 and he had a blast we rented the kayaks which wasn't very expensive to rent. We went snorkeling at Hamana Bay, I suggest you do that. We went to Pearl Harbor good educational part of the trip for my son and I. We took the busses around which I suggest you do because renting the car isn't expensive it's paying for a parking space at the hotel which is. We went to the International Market Place and across the street from there is a restaurant which looks like a dive but we went in and the food was great and plenty for the price. The water park at the hotel is for small kids. very small.... If you are going to eat at the hotel, you will have to eat at the pizza joint the pizza was great the the price was good. Otherwise the restaurants at the hotel are very expensive, I ordered a burger at bar by the pool it was 9 dollars and it came wrapped foil like you would get at a fastfood chain. Oh ya I almost forgot we took the Submarine ride the hotel offers and it was great, it was expensive but I used my CAC card and got it for 1/2 price. We also went to the Polinesian Culture Center and had a blast we got the Ambassador package which got us a tour guide, my son loved it. Keep in mind when you are in Hawaii you can find books with all of these tourist spots in them and if you call them they will come and pick you up with busses or limo's or vans and bring you to the spot you want plus bring you back. We ate at Ihop and the food wasn't very good, but across the street from the hotel was Walianee Coffee House and the food there was good and price was affordable. About the Hotel.. all I can say is that I will be spending another vacation there my son and I had a great time and received great service, the grounds were always kept up and the rooms were always cleaned. Hotel Hilton Village Beach Resort and Spa ( Thank You for making my son's and my stay a great one ) There was one thing I didn't like about my trip and that was the Airlines we flew didn't offer you a meal and it was a 9hour flight anything you wanted to eat cost you money.

    The hotel was definitely a fun place to stay, with lots of amenities, seconds walk to the beautiful beach of Waikiki. Rooms are relatively comfortable. The first few nights were quite quiet, we all could get a good night sleep. Nevetheless, from the third night on things weren't quite the same. New neighbors checked to the room right above us and were making noise pretty much all night long. The hotel has large choices of restaurants, but you have to pay high price for the meals. There are no other close by restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel also charge you for using their beach umbrellas and chairs even you stay at the hotel!! We paid $140. for using 2 sets of umbrellas and chairs for a day. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the hotel is full of life, lots to do...

    I stayed at a different hotel in Oahu a few years ago and heard very good things about the Hilton Hawaiian Village. So for my honeymoon my wife and I decided to go to Hawaii, since she had never been there before. The first night of our stay was great. The hotel was vibrant and fun, and the staff was helpful and pleasant. The very next day three of the largest Hilton locations across the US (Chicago, San Francisco, and Oahu) went on strike. Aside the 24 hour a day, loud and obnoxious picketing, the strike changed what was supposed to be a relaxing week with restaurants and bars on site, to us searching for a decent place to eat and hang out off of the premises. Based on the first night, I know that the hotel can be a great to stay but we weren't able to take advantage of all of the amenities.
