  • HOTEL RENOVATION: FEBRUARY 23, 2012 - JANUARY 5, 2013
  • From February 23, 2012 - January 5, 2013, the hotel will be undergoing a renovation of guest rooms, suites, and corridors. Guest floor renovations will occur Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm with minimal expected interference to our guests. Please contact the hotel for further information.

    Had a really good time staying here no real complaints. To be honest we didnt spend much time in the room but it was always kept clean and it wasnt noisy for us at all. The best part was the view, opening up the windows towards the river for the first time was awesome. A hotel with a pool is a must if your going to be in NO when its hot out. Some people complain about the elevator, yes its alittle confusing at first but you figure it out after a day. Really not that big of a deal

    I met friends for a short visit to New Orleans. I loved my stay at the Sheraton New Orleans. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the city - either walking or by street car. The room and amenities were nice. The bedding was very comfortable. The staff quickly responded to my request for non-feather pillows (which I forgot to request when I made my reservation). I will definitely stay at the Sheraton New Orleans again. I’ve already recommended it to friends visiting New Orleans.

    We were impressed from the moment we walked into the lobby. The location is as convenient as anyone could ask for in New Orleans. The staff was friendly and very helpful plus the bartender gave us good directions to out of the way restaurants. Having read many reviews that gave this hotel just horrible ratings we were a bit sceptical about the place but I'm happy to report that everything was much better than we expected. The elevators are almost weird fast, ear popping fast. The rooms are spacious and the view is astounding. If you stay be sure to get an even number room because they are the ones that face the river. I'd have given this hotel a five smile rating if the bed wasn't so uncomfortable. Granted, that is a matter of personal preference but man the bed was hard. Also be sure to try out the bar located in the front lobby because the bartenders are locals that really know their way around town. The concierge told me that the beds were scheduled for an upgrade and I'd be happy to stay there again once they are replaced.

    Sheraton has done a nice job upgrading all of their hotels and this one is very nice. Rooms are modern, kind of small. Beds are nice. Service is good and polite. It's an upscale hotel, but not really a 4 1/2 star rating.
