the front desk clerk, professional, but not so welcoming. Before parking car in parking lot of this hotel, the front clerk, says just pull forward, well we did but then turned right to find us now having to exit the premises. Trying to find our way back to hotel, not so easy. Also, our room was non smoking, but it smelled like smoke. Did not like the 75 cent charge for a paper I did not even ask for. The location was good. You need to provide a city map & local "hot spots" for visitors in the rooms. No free wifi. $14 bucks for wifi. Not cool. Room service fees & charges were outrages. Around 30% was the charge, take off a little. Crazy.

The decor was smart, nicely done. I had a room at the end of the hall where the building triangulates, which made the room a little larger and more interesting. Location near Boylston Street, Fenway, the Hynes Convention Center was ideal for my purposes. Next door, the Summer Shack at Kings was good for nights when I wanted good seafood without the expensive price. Walking distance to many good pubs and restaurants. I would recommend taking a rickshaw ride for the fun of it. The price is up to your "generosity." I liked the guy and overpaid a little bit, so that system probably works out well for them.

The service was great, very helpful. The location is close to excellent restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. Rooms were average but clean. Our room looked over rooftops, but we weren't there for the view from a hotel room. Would definitely stay there again.
