Great view from the 38th floor. Bed was comfy but the hallway outside was noisy all night mostly with staff elevator traffic. Disappointed in the sparse bathroom with no tub. Revolving restaurant was a must do especially as the sun set and the city lit up. Was just too tired from lack of sleep to really enjoy the hotel.

Great view, good location. Didn't have a book or Atlanta guide book in the room, had to go down to lobby to pick that up which isn't that hard but just would be nice to have one guide in room. Heat/AC fan very loud and had trouble regulating temp.

Very nice rooms, the rest needs an upgrade.

After months of waiting for this trip to Atlanta and being so excited to stay at this hotel (I had dinner in the restaurant years ago), I was pretty discouraged to heat at check-in that "nothing was available". When I asked if that meant nothing was available at the time (b/c we were a little early getting to the hotel) or nothing (at all) was available, we were then told the hotel was sold out. We had a room with 2 beds reserved and they tried to put us into a room with a bed & a roll away. I refused. They then tried to put us into a room with a bed & a pull-out couch, I again refused & demanded an upgrade or to see a manager. At this time she miraculously "found" us a room with 2 beds. The hotel lobby is very much in need of a makeover. The furniture looks to be (at least) 20 years old...faded, scratched, cushions worn out (the same can be said for the restaurant). The lobby is also dark & not well-lit. However, once we got into our room everything was fine. Apparently, they're renovating the rooms and we were put into a newly renovated room and it was gorgeous. The beds were beyond comfortable and the shower heads are fabulous. The view (from the 36th floor) was also great. Since our room was already renovated I'm hoping this means the entire hotel is being redone. It really is a great hotel and the location couldn't be better (& the views from the top-floor restaurant are fabulous). We were in town for three things...to see a show at Phillips Arena, go to CNN & the aquarium & all 3 are within a few minutes walk from the hotel. One thing I thought was way overpriced (even for a large hotel in a big city) was the Internet...$14.95 for 24 hours is ridiculous.

Beautiful hotel, very hospitable staff (they even charged my phone for me both nights I was there since I forgot my charger!) and fitness area was awesome - there was a staff person in there cleaning both times I was there - - - the WHOLE time I was there. I can only assume there is someone staffed all the time?! And the Sundial Restaurant is a definite MUST see. View is incredible as is the food!
