Hotel allowed us to check in early, so we could drop off our luggage and freshen up. Front desk was very busy when we checked in, but they were very polite and patient. Room was actually very nice. Hotel is very close to the DC Metro System. A few blocks from several resturants and shops.

10/25/2011I would give 5 stars on the hotel. the 1 problem is it cost me over $100.00 to park my car for 3 nights.

Our stay at the George Washington Inn was perfect from the moment of arrival. Our car was parked in the garage and not needed until we left. The Inn is not large but has a comfortable and friendly feeling and is in an excellent neighborhood. It is spotless and the rooms are roomy. Our friends checked in with 2 children and they were given a roomy suite. This is tucked inside the campus within a block of the Metro and convenient to all kinds of restaurants and entertainment We were able to get around easily and enjoy the city. We certainly will try to stay there again.

I was a little skeptical, when I first came here. The location was great, the price was very good so I wasn't thinking the hotel room would be too good. I was wrong, the rooms ( we had two ) were very spacious, with another small room before the restroom and it had a microwave, small fridge, & of course, the coffee maker. I would definitely stop by here again, when I am in DC. : )
