    Cleanliness is very important to us and it exceeded our expectations. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Within walking distance to everything and right on the beach. Vow renewal ceremony was beautiful. Can't wait to go again! Mahalo

    Loved everything about this hotel. Awesome place Would go back there again. Didn't like the breakfast Buffett on Mothers day. But the staff was very kind to try and make that experience better which I appreciated.

    We enjoyed our hotel stay. We were there 6 nights and felt welcome the whole time. If you are looking for a hotel close to the beach, this is a good one to choose. The staff was friendly, from valet to check in to housekeeping. We choose to not have our room cleaned every day and when our room was skipped we had a friendly note on our door asking if we needed anything to not hesitate to call for something. We appreciated that. One downfall was the walls are thin in between rooms so for two nights we could hear the people next door having late night conversations and joke telling. However the second night security took control and was able to respond to the room next door and tell them to keep it down. They actually did! So the staff really responses to your needs. They want to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Be prepared when staying at this hotel. There's only valet parking and it's $30 a day, but on the plus side if you have a car you can come and go as you please and it's still only $30.

    There wasn't much interaction with the staff while we were there, and all I heard was how wonderful they were in other reviews. The only thing that stands out about the staff was when they found out we were on our honeymoon they said they would send up wine or something and it never came but no big deal. The room was really nice and clean. The pool area was nice and the food choices at the hotel were a little pricey, but that was to be expected so just make sure you have coupons-especially for the shorebird or you pay $30 for breakfast buffet and with the coupon it was $21. (will never do another trip that isn't all inclusive) You are walking distance to a lot of other places to eat so you are not stuck there. It is a super busy place so I wouldn't rent a car because you walk and if you do an excursion they pick you up so don't waste the money. The beaches were, well, sad! I am a beach person and I was very dissapointed in the beaches. There was some construction going on Wikkiki beach so walking down to that area was out of the question and the beach in front of the Outrigger would not even be called a beach in my book. Wear water shoes if you plan on getting in the water because the rocks will cut you-just ask my husband!! It is a beautiful place, make sure to take a tour of the island so you don't miss out on the beauty of the place. You will enjoy it, just don't get your heart set on white beaches!
