We stayed here for part of our honeymoon in June 2010. The lobby was large and open and the staff was very friendly. The beachfront was somewhat small and very crowded with people, and you must purchase lounge chairs or lay on a towel. However, the pool area had several nice chairs and the water was always the perfect temperature. Check out the Shorebird restaurant/bar at night for some of the best drink specials we found and karaoke. The hotel is also centrally located so you can walk almost everywhere, which was great.

My family had a great time. The best part was the hotel sits right on the beach. The kids loved the fact that the beach and water was steps away. For me and my wife we loved that it was close to everything and within walking distance to the mall and fast food and sit down places. Other great thing was if you didn't want to leave the hotel, the hotel had 3 to 4 places to eat right at the hotel. Another great fact was the pool and workout room. I would recommend this to anybody. We would love to come back.

The hotel is special as I was here 54 years ago for my Honeymoon, when they had a resturant called beneath the reef, ate there every morning. Came back with friends for their renewal of vows, and brought my daughter, doubley special.
