we originally made the reservation for the reef & meant to make it for the outrigger waikki..the staff at the reef made it possible to transfer to the other hotel which made our trip just exactly what we wanted at no cost to us

The staff is excellent, and service-oriented; and I have a problem NOT going back to this hotel while vacationing in Oahu. I can hardly believe any other place can match it. I have no recommendations other than "don't change a thing"! Thanks for two great years in a row; this most recent trip being our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We did the beachfront vow renewal, and were taken back by the entire experience. Now we're trying to plan a Christmas holiday sometime in 2013.

Everyone was great at this hotel. Friendly staff. The only thing that we didn't like, was the parking fee. I think when you are paying this much for a room, your parking should be included in the cost. Other than that, this hotel is very clean. It is within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. Many of which are located right in the hotel itself. It is also very close to Pearl Harbor, which we visited twice while there. I also recommend Chief's Luau if you stay here. It is only about a half hour drive away and is well worth your time and money. All in all, our stay in Hawaii was great and I cannot wait until we are able to come back again!

We love this hotel. We always ask for the second floor because the rooms have a patio outside the window that gives us a extra place to hang out to sit and read and relax. This hotel is right on the beach and the location is great because it is surrounded by lots of great shops and restaurants. Shorebird downstairs is great for all you can eat buffet. The WiFi in the room wasn't great though. My family loves it here.

The hotel is right on the beach and close to pick up points for any of the activities. It is also close to the market, has two restaurants and a Dennys right across the street. Loved the view from the balcony, the room was clean and the service great. You definitely get your money's worth!
