    I've stayed at the Outrigger Reef three times now. The hotel itself is quite nice - perhaps not quite as nice as a few of the higher end hotels in Waikiki, but far better than most. Clean and comfortable. Great service from the front desk and valet guys. Starbucks on-site is a plus for me. Decent breakfast choices as well. In general, just a really nice vibe, though I will admit that I spent most of my time away from the hotel and Waikiki. If you plan on staying close to home, keep in mind that other hotels have beachside pools and private beaches. During my stay, there was road construction going on just meters from the hotel. I'm very glad that I had booked a room higher up (11th floor) and away from the street (partial ocean view). Likewise, the nightly live music shows last until ten or eleven o'clock, so a room on a higher floor is something to consider for those who might want a bit of peace and quiet. All in all, a very nice hotel that I would gladly recommend to friends.

    I had a fantastic time staying at the Outrigger Reef. The hotel is right on the beach along with a fine restaurant. Didn't notice if it had "free internet" because I was at the pool, beach, restaurant, looking at the sunset, shopping or reading. Who looks at the internet while you are on vacation. The hotel had just been renovated and they did a fabulous job. It was just beautiful and very clean. Had a super nice staff and the whole atmosphere was just wonderful. Would definitely stay there again.

    My first vacation in a long time, and I knew I wanted to be steps away from the beach--the fewer the better! Outrigger Reef on the beach, is of course, ON THE BEACH. We were early to check-in and told our room as being made-up. We left our cell phone number, and were promptly called when our room was available for check-in. The room was amazing! We had a corner unit, with a city view, but since it was a corner unit, if we crammed out necks we could see the water. The staff & services of everyone (front desk / housekeeping / pool side service) at the hotel was open, warm, and friendly!

    Every aspect of this hotel was outstanding. The entire hotel, including and especially our room, was spotless, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location is terrific. This was my wife's first trip to Oahu and I wanted it to be a good experience for her - I can't imagine that we could have chosen a better hotel. We will definitely return, and we have already recommended it to several friends.
