    Dec 08 stay; 8 day stay ; We had stayed in Cancun about 2 years ago. And would have to say Dreams surpassed all our expectations. We took our 8 year old with us this time and the staff was so wonderful to him, they always called him by name and went out of their way to make him smile everyday. The food was good and the service was excellent to say the least. The beaches were awesome. We have traveled all over the world and would have to say that this was our best vacation so far. Dont forget to tip though it is really appreciated and well deserved. In a word WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    If you like to go to Clubs, this hotel has the right location. Most of the clubs are within walking distance. If you like a serene beach to swim, this is the hotel for you. Most of the hotels on the strip have very wavy beaches. This one has both while located at the tip of the strip. The sunset view is very pretty. The buffet has below average food, but the breakfast is fine. We enjoyed the different fruit nectar and the mexican breakfast. The specialty restaurants have good food but all locations are very windy. We hope they do something to block out the wind in the evenings. It was not comfortable sitting there embracing the winds. The hotel staff is very friendly and they are helpful. The staff deserves some tips. Every day each room is entitled to 15 minutes free internet, or you may choose to pay $13/day. If you don't get your beach towel early, they are gone. I saw people sitting on 4 towels on one chair. They need to set up a system to avoid running out of towels. The hotel also offers 24 hours room service which is a plus because our daughter got there by mid-night & was hungry.

    The location of the hotel is very good, plenty of beaches. This all-inclusive hotel's services are excellent. Lots of activities. The food choices are above average. The only thing is that the hotel room furniture needs to be upgraded.

    Upgrade to a room overlooking the dolphin pool is a must! Watching the dolphins play & jump right out your balcony is awesome. The room was adequate - but for four, there wasn't enough dresser space. Room was clean, maid service excellent. Check in/out was a breeze. But the best part was the recreation staff - there was something going on outside all the time- from beach volleyball, to snorkling, to kayakas, to arobics, bike trips and swimming with the dolphins. Plenty of towels and chairs. Food in the restaurants was superior, buffet was average. Drinks flowed continuously. Only drawback was the beach. Adequate but not a deep sand area to walk or build sandcastles. My 17 & 20 year olds said it was the best vacation they ever had and we've had many. Highly recommend.

    I stayed here 2 years in a row. Great food, great rooms, really good location. The only complaints are minor. The pool is kind of boring, just a rectangle shape, but clean and a good pool bar. The bars in the hotel close early, 1am, but all you have to do is walk out the front door and your in the middle of all the action. The a/c broke one day they sent a repairman right away and it was fixed by the time I got back from lunch. I have stayed here twice and would gladly stay again.
