    Spectacular views of the Bay of Banderas and the city from virtually every balcony. (Marriott charges extra for bay view) Unbelievable sunsets. Daily Brunch on the beach is a special bargain. Have stayed here once or twice a year for past 6 years. Always an especially helpful staff. Recently upgraded in room safes and keyless entry. Mostly Americans Monday thru Thursday with well off Mexican Nationals filling the place on weekends. Actual opportunity to mix with the nationals of the country you're visiting, unlike the all inclusive places established for and catering to the US market. Personally I like to hear Spanish spoken when I'm in Mexico. 50 peso cab ride downtown, center. 80 pesos to Zona Romantica and restaurants on Olas Atlas, Basillio Badillo and beachfront restaurants in the romantic zone. well worth it in every way IMO.

    This hotel/resort is a very clean and most excellent place to stay. Nice beach and pool area. Rooms are all oceanfront ( I think ) with balconys and the staff is pleasant. I didn't know what to expect and I was very pleased. The evening buffet was so-so when we were there ( I'm sure it changes ) but you can always order from the menu. Overall a great place.

    We found Fiesta Americana to be beautiful and better than we imagined! The food was very good, especially if you ordered off of the menu and not the buffet. They would make us fresh guacamole whenever we asked and bring it to us on the beach. It's nothing like Cancun, different sand,different water. Cancun is like an overpopulated US resort, Puerto Vallarta is charming, REAL Mexico. Yes, they speak Spanish. But the hospitality is top notch, try to speak a few words of Spanish even if it is only 'gracias'! Tip the waiters a few pesos and they will wait on you hand and foot! Rooms were very clean. Sunset massage on the beach was awesome! Loved the swim up bar. We had absolutely NO complaints! The all inclusive is definitely worth it!

    It was my first time in Puerto Vallarta and i must admit that i didnt expect this hotel to be as great as it was. The whole staff was very friendly from the day i arrived till the moment i left. We stayed on the 3rd floor which had a breath taking view. Room was clean and very nice. Anything we asked for from extra towels to ice, they were on top of it. Food was good but we mostly went out since the prices are better and you get to experience different atmospheres. It was right in the middle of everything! Overall my boyfriend and i had a great time. I plan to go back in Jan and bring along the kids. Forsure i know they will love it!! Thank you to everyone at the Fiesta Americana! See you in Jan 2010!!

    Our first time in Puerto Vallarta and could not have picked a better hotel! The location is great, right in the middle of down town Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta so, 10 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go. The meals are a little pricey but, to have breakfast, lunch and dinner on the beach just like we did, I think we would have been happy to pay a little more! And 5 stars for all the hotel staff who helped us with any little question we had! Puerto Vallarta is beautiful and we can not wait to go again!!!
