    Room very small. staff refused room upgrade even though i was willing to pay. hassle to get staff to unlock fridge and provide an iron. couldn't make international calls ...

    Room very small. Staff refused room upgrade even though I was willing to pay. Hassle to get staff to unlock fridge and provide an iron. Couldn't make international calls from room even after opening credit. Staff said business centre closed when I needed the internet (midday Monday). When tour operator arrived to take us to airport, staff told him we'd already left (even though they were holding our luggage). Luckily I spotted him and caught him before he left without us. Not all staff were difficult but few that were added unnecessary hassles to otherwise fantastic trip to Mexico City.

    THE HOTEL IS REALLY VERY PRETTY, THE SERVICE IS WARM AND MY STAY WAS VERY PLEASANT, THE FOOD OF THE RESTAURANT IS BRILLIANT AND FLAVORFUL, IN MY NEXT VISIT STAY AGAIN TO THIS HOTEL

    I love Mexico City. Hadn't been back in many years. Brought my wife and selected Emporio on the strength of Reviews. The pluses: perfect location, friendly personnel, great breakfast buffet. The minuses: had to change room from 3rd floor to 8th because the view on first was a concrete bulding 30 meters away; beds too small for 2 and barely fit in room; tub too small for 1; noisy staff too early in a.m.; lobby under construction: dust and noise.
