This place has excellent staff. The restaurant has really reasonable buffet breakfast that was really tasty! Room was a bit warm in the evenings but was nice and clean. The WIFI never worked right so don't bank on free Internet.

The Emporio is a good value for the money. The rooms are tasteful. Those in the old section of the hotel are larger than those in the new section, which can be quite tight. The restaurant food is very good. You can walk to the old part of town in twenty minutes, to the Zona Rosa in ten, and Chapultepec in twenty but there is not so much directly around the hotel. The internet service is decent, but slows down at night. The staff is generally friendly, although those at the reception desk itself can be pretty aloof. The rooms are pretty well isolated from each other and the exterior windows are of decent quality.

room was very small..not what i had in mind. from inside the room you could hear people walking in the walkway outside the room. the hotel restaurant's food was good, but way over priced for what you get. i would not recommend this to anyone. for the price i paid i could of done better in the same area. i will not stay there again... the only good thing was the area..easy to get taxi. but again there are better hotel in the area for lesser price that dont take advantage of you in the in house restaurants.

I stayed alone in Mexico City for one week. Go on airplane today to Oaxaca, Mexico. My stay at Hotel Emporio Reforma was very good. Very good staff, a little problem with my English and there not so much English, but good. Food very good. Good room with jacuzzi. I was safe there alone. Walked on street felt safe. Took bus for far away. Much enjoyed the city. So much to see and do, one week too short to see it all. Would return again. Very good shopping, seeing sights, walked to El Zocalo, good fun. Used to staying in hostels, miss the meeting of new people at hotel, like in a hostel. Will be staying in hostels for rest of time to meet more people. Very good hotel, Hotel Emporio Reforma, very clean and nice.
