    My family and I stayed at the Omni in August 2007. We were immediately disappointed with what the hotel had to offer for the money we paid. We paid for the all-inclusive resort to avoid having to worry about anything while relaxing after a busy year. There were only two restuarants to eat at, which had the same menus every time we ate. The food was great, but I would expect greater variety for an all-inclusive package. You can only eat the same thing so many times, before it gets old and boring. Top of the line liquors were not included (Malibu, Absolut, Corona), and the Da Vinci Italian restuarant was not included. The smell of the hotel was DISGUSTING...it smelled like mold and dirty water. The septic drains in both of our rooms were leaking sewage smell into our rooms and the hallway. My parents had to attend a timeshare presentation and were told the problem would be fixed only if they signed for the timeshare. Here's a tip for timeshare salespeople...if you want someone to pay you money and sign, you should treat them better, not worse than others. The beach was rocky and filled with slimey green seaweed. We had to walk about 15 minutes down the beach to find a spot to swim. The nice part of this hotel was the pools and the workers were SO NICE. I would not recommend this hotel. There are so many nicer hotels on the hotel strip in Cancun that have more to offer.

    The staff was responsive and helpful. The room was clean and large of enough for a family of three. The pool is large with lots of seating. The The view is amazing from every spot in the hotel. The beach is clean with exellent drink and dining service. All the staff was very friendly and helpful with my 5 yrs old. This was my 3rd time at this hotel and I would go back again.

    When I checked it at the Cancun Omni I immediately encountered a problem with the reservation. The hotel staff were incompetent and unaccommodating. They simply just would not listen or do anything. We ended up waiting for over three hours for our room to be ready. The overall hotel experience was seriously lacking and for their rates we should have stayed at the Marriott next door, where the service has always been reliable. I recommend not staying here. There are so many other hotels to choose from in the Hotel Zone in Cancun so don't give yourself a headache by staying here. It ruined my trip every time I set foot in that lobby.

    EVERY THING WAS NICE. THE ROOMS, THE BARS, THE POOL, THE WORKERS, THE VIEW, AND THE BEACH FRONT. ABSOLUTE GREAT COSTUMER SERVICE. I WENT WITH 3 OTHER GIRLFRIENDS AND IT WAS THE TIME OF OUR LIFES WE WILL BECOMING BACK AGIAN. ALSO IT IS IN THE PERFECT LOACTION. IN FRONT OF PANCHO WILLY'S AND A FEW BLOCKS FROM AQUAWORLD, AND THERE IS A CONVIENT STORE ACROSS THE STREET. BEST TIME IN MY LIFE. I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE!
