    As a family we stayed at Casa Magna Jan 11-16. The service was second to none. he beds were very small and uncomfortable. My neck was stiff for the following 3 days. Resturants were way, way, way out of reasonable costs to value. The $39 per person seafood buffet shrimp was farm frozen and not fresh. The ice cream was $4 for two scoops. Water was $6 per small bottle. The beach was excellent as well as an awesome pool. I would choose the Sheraton next time as it it closer to town.

    This place is the best. Can't find a better place to stay in Pto Vallarta. The service is excellent, the pool is amazing. I have never stayed at a nicer hotel than this. You can take a taxi to the Downtown/Malecon area for about $6, or 60 pesos.

    this was our second trip to PV and our last at the marriott. oceanview rooms are overpriced. food is definitely overpriced, excellent eating at the marina. the housekeeping staff do not know the meaning of ""do not disturb"". we were walked in on twice, found maids coming out of room twice and replacing do not disturb sign. watch your valuables. complained with no results till last night. will return to PV but not to the marriott.

    We were not disappointed. the room was large and well appointed. the ocean view was beautiful. staff treated us like royalty.
