    We just got back on Saturday 9/22 and had a awesome time. We will go back again for sure. I don't see a need to even check other places out. The food was excellent, the staff was awesome and the beach was great. We had our 12 year old daughter with us and she had the time of her life. When we checked in they had us in a Ocean Front Deluxe room which we had paid for but it was on the 1st floor in like a basement setting and the view was blocked by cabbanas in front. I went up to the front desk and asked to be moved and they didn't even question it. Moved us up to the 5th floor which was an upgrade at no cost. If I had to pick at something it would be the Condo/Timeshare people. We must have been confronted and called 6 or 7 times and we started to get a little bitter about it. Once again thie place is awesome!!!!

    I normally don't write reviews. But since I relied so much in the reviews to make my hotel selection, I believe I should give back. Pros: Staff was very accommodating. Checkout was at 12:00 pm but since our flight left at 5:00 pm they allowed us to checkout at 2:00 pm, without any extra charge. The food is amazing and the selection is very good. The pool is huge, even if the hotel is full it never felt crowded. We felt very secure since you had to check in and out with security when you entered or left the hotel. Room service was 24hrs and they were very nice and accommodating. The TV channel selection was very good, they even had two or three HBOs. Cons: The rooms are very old fashioned, they definitely need remodeling. The hotel walls need a little paint since they are chipping. In the shower the water temperature was very hard to control, since it would have moments of very hot water streams and suddenly very cold. There is no Japanese restaurant, and I love Sushi :( There is no casino or club, therefore if you want to stay in the hotel at night you will be very bored. They do have shows but to my taste they were a little mediocre. The beach was beautifully blue, but the waves were extreme. The whole week we were there they had the red warning flag. We were later told that the hotels in this section of Cancun suffered from this problem. In summary it's a great hotel to relax and enjoy the pool, but don't expect anything amazing.

    I've been to Cancun several times before and FA Condesa has been the best in terms of views.. beachfront ..entertainment & Food! We didnt really feel the need to leave the resort at any time because we had it all there except to go on the Xcaret & Chichenitza tours. The only highly disappointing issue I had was dealing with the aggressive pressure coming from the TimeShare reps IN the hotel lobby claiming to be 'concierge' reps of the hotel! The staff was overall pretty good but the resort itself, beachfront location & food was great & worth the money :)
