The air conditioning was very loud, we couldn't sleep. In the middle of the night it made terrible noises. An "engineer" from the hotel came to fix the unit twice, but after his visits, the noises were as loud as before.

I recommend staying at Circus Circus. The rooms are really clean, quiet and spacious in the West tower. There was everything we needed in the casino, shops open all night long, gambling, restaurants (avoid Rock & Rita) and two pools and hot tubs (not the best on the Strip but great to relax in hot weather). It is easy to catch a bus southbound on the Strip or northbound to check out the Old Vegas and shop at the outlet mall.

If you're going to take your whole family to Las Vegas then this is the place to take them. There are activities for all ages, the food is suprisingly good, especially in the upstairs restaurants, although the buffet is not amazing it's perfectly acceptable. Rooms were okay. No real complaints, maybe it's not the most well laid out resort, but it has everything you'd want.

  • Good family value and centrally located on the Strip.

I had stayed here about 30 years ago and was not impressed; at that time the hotel was on the low end of worn down. It has clearly been updated since that time and was very comfortable. I was even in a room near the elevator and was not disturbed, and I am very sensitive to noise. The WiFi worked great and was included in the Resort Fee, not an extra fee like many hotels. A VERY comfortable bed! And you will want for nothing as far as shopping and amusement; I was even pleasantly surprised to find fresh fruit in one of the sundry shops on the Prommenade so that I didn't have to go in search of a grocery store. As for the restaurants, don't come thinking you'll find any healthy food, other than the aforementioned fruit. I am a Weight Watcher, and I had a very difficult time getting any bang for my PP buck. The fare was bbq, burgers, steakhouse, deli, coffee stand (like Starbucks), and buffet. However, being on the Strip you're close to so many more options. There is a Fitness Center, but machines are limited and antiquated. The aerobic equipment is right up to date, though, and seems to be in good working condition. I was in town visiting friends and I must say that the improvements to Industrial Road behind the hotels was wonderful! No more slogging down the Strip to get in and out of the Strip hotels by car. The road system is fantastically improved. Circus Circus is also very nicely centralized to all the attractions.
