    The room was dirty!!!!!! i was not expecting luxury for what we paid but i did expect a clean room.

    Circus Circus is a budget hotel. To me, it felt and looked like a motel, with lots of rooms. The low ceilings, aroma of smoke and old people, carpet from the 80's, and everything else made me think it was the love child of a budget hotel/motel crossed with a low end bowling alley. The staff were more than courteous. Everyone I interacted with from housekeeping to check in/out were perfect. If I asked where something was, easy clear instructions were given. I was only in Vegas on business and to visit the Las Vegas Convention Centre. Circus Circus is very close, we just walked there. Down a block and over another block. Free shuttles existed to/from the centre as well. If it wasn't for that convenience, I doubt I would even consider staying here again. For a few more dollars a fancier hotel can be had that actually feels like a hotel. But you are farther away from the centre if that is important to you. I was wholly unprepared for the smoking everywhere in Vegas. Coming from a place with clean air legislation, I could barely breathe inside or outside. The casino area, check-in area, and even hallways were just so rank with smoke I could barely breath. I turned the AC on its coldest setting to force it to run and filter the air. It was unbearable. I think the 30+ year old carpet is holding in the smell more so than the stone floors of say the Luxor even though I had a non-smoking room. In the bigger scale, this seems to be a Vegas thing, not a Circus Circus thing. The steakhouse inside the casino area was a surprise. Some of the best steak and lamb I have ever had. And for the prices it had better have been. The dinner buffet was edible but tasted horrible as was the breakfast buffet which doesn't open until 7am.

    Our stay at Circus Circus was great! The night we got to the hotel was vary hectic due to the fact they had a huge Halloween event going on at the casino and parking was a nightmare! But once we found a parking spot to park it was all up hill from there. From the moment we walked in the front door we were helped by some of the kindest employees. The beds in the room were vary comfy and the room was really nice and spacious and clean, the pool was great and at perfect temperature for threat whether whole we were there. I would recommend anyone to stay at Circus Circus due to its great value, great rooms and an awesome pool and staff.
