    Front desk was very friendly & always helpful..along with every other staff member at the Riu Palace. Everything was very very clean, staff went above and beyond, food was great, views were beautiful, spa services were top notch (best massage I have ever had), room was very spacious & always clean. Only a short taxi ride to town/marina. We loved it & will probably be back next year

    More than we expected! We were there for the 4th of July weekend for 5 days. The Hotel staff's only job was to read our minds, and this they did exceptionally well. We never left the Hotel because we had everything there: 24 hour room service, 3 excellent gourmet meals a day, the wines and drinks were top of the line, the pool was refreshing, the architecture and decor were gorgeous. the nightly shows were great! We fell in love with this RIU and can't wait to come back here or go to another RIU hotel. We did not want to ever leave!

    Stayed 5 nights 6/1-6/7/09 and the Riu Palace is worth it. There is great value at this resort. The resort is immaculate, with the staff cleaning all day. The food is plentiful, fresh, and a large variety. The theme restaurants are good as well. The staff is very courteous and friendly. I would have liked if the A/C in the rooms were a bit colder though. With all this said, this resort is not a Ritz-Carlton. So if that's what you want, it's not quite in the same league. But for an all-inclusive resort in Cabo, you will not be disappointed.

    The comments on tripadvisor were fairly accurate. The hotel is nice. The room we had had a king bed, and a step down living area that fit a loveseat and had the TV in that area. That led to the balcony. We were on the 3rd floor and had an oceanview room that was partly blocked by a tree. But we didnt really mind. The people were friendly. The activities guys always were trying to get people to play volleyball, or water aerobics, or rifle shooting in the activities area. My only negative would be the food. It was only adequate. Breakfast was the same everyday, but they had quite a variety of fruit, cereal, eggs, pancakes, etc... I think the food in the speciaty restaurants could/should have been much better. The japanese and fusion restaurants were the better of the dining experiences. The drinks were free flowing and you could get whatever you wanted. Though the wine selection was quite limited and the only beer they have is dos equis. All in all we had a great time.
