    Excellent staff, always friendly and helpful. Perfectly located, practically in the backyard of Laramba. Plenty of restaurants in the World Trade Center adjoining the hotel. A 20 Euro taxi ride from the airport. Can't say too much about the wonderfully accommodating staff. Topnotch breakfast!

    I stayed with my husband and 2 kids 6 & 10, at the hotel over the summer. When I checked in, they would not let us stay in one room. They made me get another room, and as you know is not cheap. My husband had to sleep with my 10 year old in one room, and I slept with my 6 year daughter. in another room. I found that so ridiculous. Families don't do that on vacation. We travel all over, and this is the first time this has ever happened to us. Be warned.

    From the advertising for the hotel I expected something special. Its location on the water suggested wonderful views. In fact, the place is surrounded by buildings and cruise ships. It is surprisingly distant from restaurants and other sights to see. The rooms are bare bones with uncomfortable beds, bad pillows, no bathrobes, few towels. I would not stay there again.

    This is a great hotel. Clean, modern and spacious. Bed on the hard side but still comfortable. The turista bus was right outside, walking distance to La Rumbla and the harbor restaurants. This place makes you feel special. A bit pricey but so is everything in Bacelona.

    My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is very well located at the end of the famous Ramblas, and a quick taxi ride from the airport. Priced more reasonably than many 5star hotels in Barcelona, its foyer and bar lack the grandeur of some hotels, but since one spends so much time enjoying all of Barcelona's numerous wonderful bars and restaurants this is not a major drawback. One caution - some of the seaview rooms also face the ferry terminal and can be noisy with arriving and departing ferries. The inner courtyard rooms are cheaper and quieter. The Staff is helpful and the breakfast buffet is outstanding.
