    The room was great. The hotel staff was great. The only negative we had--- No coffee maker in room. For those of us going on tours that leave befor 6am, it would have been nice to have a cup of coffee in our room before leaving for an all day tour.

    Beautiful Views of Diamond Head and the beach. Loved the Breakfast on the Beach option. Very close to Starbucks and many great food choices, including fast food if you are on a budget. Free daily DVD rentals. Great onsite store with reasonable prices. Loved the Tiki Restaurant (Coconut Shrimp). Would stay there again!

    The elevators broke daily. When my linens were changed they were soiled. i had to have maid service at 10:00 pm to rechange sheets.The "free" breakfast was mini bagels coffee and yogurt if you wanted a pancake or omelet the size of a toaster waffle it's $5.00 so the picture of breakfast on the beach is deceptive at best. We are happy to pay for breakfast...Real Food and did daily at many close by resteraunts .You get charged $10.00 a day to use hotel facility which includes run down pool, broken elevators, & free breakfast. You also get charged extra to use the "free" movie card. The bums that hang out at the entrance to the hotel all day and night were NEVER asked to leave or to leave guests alone. We have 18 & 20 year old daughters vacationing with us and would not let them leave alone. The only good thing I have to say is the view from our room was really nice and the little canopies over the beds in the girls room were cute.

    The hotel still needs some updating, but it was great. The location is better than some of the luxury hotels. The security is good. Having breakfast included increases the value. I would consider staying there again. It is within walking distance of shopping, the beach, the aquarium and the zoo. Whenever we called with an issue, they were quick to resolve it. The internet was weak in the room. The partial beach view actually included a beautiful view of the mountains.
