    I invited my parents to spend the weekend with my wife and i at the aquarius. upon checking in and getting our rooms, there was a strong smell of sewer ...

    I invited my parents to spend the weekend with my wife and I at the Aquarius. Upon checking in and getting our rooms, there was a strong smell of sewer or mold/mildew in the 5th floor hallway and in the rooms. I decided to pay an extra $20 per room per night to get a River view and to just get other rooms. While the room my wife and I got was fine, the room my parents got had an about 3' view from the corner of the window. The toilet in their room didn't flush and I called maintenance to have it fixed. The plummer was quick to showed up and simply turned the toilet valve on. The next morning I asked my parents if they'd slept OK. They both said they were not able to sleep all night because the toilet was running water all night long and they couldn't sleep because of the noise. I walked down to the registration desk again and arranged to swith my parents' room, one more time. This time they got a full Riverview and all was fine; however, once again in the morning, the toilet in their room wasn't working. We had them just use the toilet in our room for the remainder of our stay.

    Parking there is horrific. the sheets had stains, the bed side lamps were broken remote to tv didn't have a back. call for room service and waiting 30 minutes. ...

    The hotel and casino were the right mixture of fun and comfort. the selection of places to eat were a welcome change to typical casino food.
