    This hotel has two distinct areas to the property - a family friendly side and an adults-only side. We spent each day at the adults-only pool. The entertainment staff is lots of fun and do a great job of getting guests involved in the activities. However, if you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is not the place for you. The daily activities by the pool are supplemented with great music all day long, but it can be pretty loud. The food at the resort is great. There are a number of restaurants to choose from each night. The pool is gorgeous, but the beach is non-existent. It is a rocky cove area where you can do some minor snorkeling if you like, but not hugely useful in my opinion.

    We had a wonderful experience at the Spa Palace. The staff is so friendly and the Spa is AMAZING. Also it connects to the family side resort and that side was really nice as well. Would definitely recommend it to others :)

    All the staff were very quick to please you and serve you. The messages, pedicure and manicure were very nice. I loved the room service 24/7 for FREE and a large selection there too. If you did not feel like going out again, just order food in. The wedding was so wonderful on the gazebo in front of the ocean with the bride brought to us on a horse drawn carriage and a violinist playing. Complete with a champagne toast.

    The resort was very nice, well kept and nicely manicured. The resort is huge, too big. Went with a big group for a wedding and hardly saw each other. The size isnt a bad thing if its just 2 people but for groups its hard to stay together. The resort sits on a rocky coast and the beach is non-existent. The pools were big and nice, but if you like beach time and swimming in the ocean, this is not the place. The service/staff was excellent. Rooms were great, very nice, clean and loved the jacuzzi tub and hammock. By far the biggest complaint would be the food, it just was not good anywhere at anytime. I'm not even a picky eater and didn't like anything from breakfast to dinner. Although the restaurants/waiters were nice. Have stayed at numerous resorts and cruises that had much better food. Wouldn't stay at this particular resort again just for the food. Would like more beach/ocean access too. Otherwise the resort is beautiful and for just 2 people the size wouldn't bother me.

    I would never stay at this resort again. The $* towards tours..what a scam. They charge you hundreds more than what the tours actually cost.. if you can even book one. They are usually full. We took a trip to Tulum (30 minutes away we were told) the bus took 2.5 hrs to get there. A million stops in between. This would be a great place if you never want to leave. Or if you rent a car and travel to another Palace resort on your own. Don't fall into thinking that you are getting a great deal with the tour bonus dollars. I wouldn't consider that when choosing your hotel. Complaints to public service are ignored.
