    We went on our honeymoon here. It was great! We went in July, the rainy season, and it only rained one day. B/c it was rainy season, it is cheaper, although it is VERY humid. The employees are all very friendly, always saying "ola" when you walk by. The room service was excellent, always calling to confirm immediately after that you received it. B/c it was rainy season, the hotel was only half full, so it was easy to get a spot at the pool or by the lagoon even as late as 11 am! There was a great variety of restaurants; I always found something I liked. Be careful men, some restaurants require long pants and collared shirts. There are many bars, including a disco. The disco was fun sometimes, sometimes not, depending on how many people were there-fun dancing! There are shows every evening, be sure to catch the fire show-it's awesome. The service is great! Tips are included, but it definitely helps to get even faster service and special attention to give some tips anyways. The rooms have air conditioning, and it's real a/c! (sometimes a/c in mexico really isn't cold at all, but here it was great!) If you like to party, request to stay at the South side of the hotel-probably when you arrive. (The north side is the quieter, spa side.) One negative, we requested an ocean view and we got a tiny view of the ocean through some construction of new nearby hotels-kind of yucky. If you can, try out the spa, it's awesome! If you're on your honeymoon or as a couple, the couples massage by the ocean is amazing! We also went on the paradise snorkeling tour with the hotel-awesome! We definitely will go back in a few years.

    Stayed there for my honeymoon. The No Kids Allowed was the way to go. Nice not to hear them screaming in the morning at the pools. Food was amazing. All-inclusive was also the way to go, and the bartenders didn't skip on the alcohol. Drinks were strong and good. Very convenient not to have to set a reservation for the restaurants, was able to come and go as you pleased. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
    Only two complaints. The room was a lot smaller then it seemed on the website. Also, booked a king room but the only one available was on teh side they were doing construction on so opted for two fulls (although they seemed to think they were queens). The other complaint is the location. Don't get me wrong you could never leave the resort and have an excellent time but I like to shop and see some sites and to do that it was at least a 30 min drive. Also, the airport is aboput 1 hour and 20 minutes away.
    But Highly recommended and planning a five year anniversary back there.

    Aventura is amazing. From the minute you are greeted at the lobby with champagne on through to the evening turn down service and 24 hour room service, This place provides nothing but luxury. The rooms are amazing....we really loved the 2 person jacuzzi. The excellent excursion trips, access to several other palace resorts, great lagoon to snorkle in, wonderful pools, delicious food and drinks, were only a few of the things we loved. You will not be dissapointed. It was an incredible resort and we will definately go back.

    After the air conditioning went out in our building we were transferred to a room that was dirty, w/o a view and near a service entrance that kept us awake all night. Multiple complaints about our room and several days later we learned that the air conditioning had been fixed in our old room the day before but it had been given to someone else!?! Management, Reception and Guest Services was rude. We came home to find a unauthorized $*.00 charge made by the hotel to our credit card. This is a four star hotel that is run like a second rate motel.

    Great place to stay. I didn't know there was no beach when I booked but I got over that. Use of other Palace Resorts in area good but need more shuttle service to them. Looking forward to another Palace vacation.
