This resort is located just a few miles north of Tahoe City. It was very well appointed and perks like the concierge service made it a top-notch experience. We were very pleased with the restaurant selection as well as the shopping right there at the resort. Because the resort isn't right on Lake Tahoe, I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have a vehicle at your disposal. The resort is also very close to Truckee to the north, which is a fun little town for shopping and dining. I can't wait to come back to this resort when I visit Lake Tahoe again.

Just returned from a week's stay at the resort and we had a wonderful experience. The lobby is a bit dated and tired looking, but the rest of the grounds, especially the pool area, are much better. Because it was our anniversary, we received a complimentary room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. The downside is that the resort is located far from the lake and from good restaurants. Except for the breakfast buffet, the food at the resort was not very good.

We have been staying here since it was built a few years back. We stay and ski. We stay and golf. Sometimes we just stay, eat, and relax. We find something new every time. There is so much to do and see in Squaw Valley, Truckee and Tahoe City. RSC is right in the middle of them all.

My husband and I lucked onto a great deal at The Resort at Squaw Creek last summer. It was much needed and fulfilled all our wants. We felt spoiled, the room was fabulous, the view gorgeous and the service perfect. I only wish we had used the spa services. The pool, hot tubs and steam room were so relaxing. Such a beautiful place. We can't wait to come back with the kids.

I've been to the Resort at Squaw Creek at least 6 times, and the reason I keep coming back is that it really just is a great place to hang out -- as a couple or as a family. The rooms are great, the suites are better, and the hotel amenities are superb.
