The room was smallish but clean and the king size bed comfortable with plenty of nice pillows and covers. The housekeeping staff was very good and we tipped them. The restaurant was relatively low in food quality (ok but overpriced for what we were served) and probably 2X overpriced. But the restaurant staff was friendly and attentive. The grounds were clean and nicely laid out except for parking. The parking area was a bit of a mess. The guest laundry had 75% of the dryers non-working while we were there. For the price we paid we didn't expect to have to pay extra for parking, for internet, expensive breakfasts. I know it's typical in the business world, but not sure it is for a resort package. There is no swimming at the beach so you have to travel to enjoy the ocean. They advertize a 3.5 mile path along the beach but it's just the shoreline, which is ok as long as it's low-tide. In general, it's an ok place to stay, but I think I'd find a better value with higher quality food and less nickel and diming on the things that most resorts might provide free. Most of the Island has outstanding LTE coverage but this hotel is in one of the few poor places. The elevators for the main building were breaking down when we were there and eventually were just shut down so we used the stairs. They have a nice lounge with the same guy playing an instrument and singing every night, but I'd suggest saving the money and improving the food. Else you'll be heading over to HukiLau-Lanai at the Kauai coast resort (same price, really outstanding food).

We arrived just a short drive from the airport, check in was flawless. Room was what we requested, an ocean view, only about 50 yards to the beach. Staff was very helpful, even printed out my boarding passes. One of the best things is that it was located centrally between the north shore area and south shore area. It also had no developments on either side so it was very private. Would definitely book here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel for the location and value. We weren't overly impressed with the breakfast buffet but otherwise had good food and drinks. The beach was gorgeous and we took a long walk, seeing very few other guests. The hot tub was wonderful, as were the staff and amenities. We would definitely stay here again.
