- A Resort fee of 25 USD daily plus tax is payable directly to the property upon checkin which includes:

- Cardio center access
- Daily newspaper
- Local and 800-number calls
- Outgoing faxes
- Boarding pass printing
- Please note Mandalay Bay Beach & Pool is now opened for the 2013 season, hours 9am-6pm. Moorea Beach is open with hours 10am to5 pm daily, weather permitting.

Hotel relocated us
12/07/2012After a long flight, we were told at check in that the hotel had overbooked and we were being relocated to the mirage. wt....!!!!!! we booked 9 months in advance. ...
After a long flight, we were told at check in that the hotel had overbooked and we were being relocated to the Mirage. WT....!!!!!! We booked 9 Months in advance. Not cool. The hotel told us that they did not have our contact information in order to inform us of the situation. WT...!!!!!! They did compensate us with $100 in taxi money and $225 in food vouchers at any MGM hotel. But still....we wanted to stay at Mandalay Bay. Not anymore.

The staff at the Mandalay Bay was amazing. The room was beautiful, and the beds were super comfortable. The front desk staff was so helpful, especially when there was a mix up with our room. I don't really agree with the resort fee, but that's part of the nature of the beast I guess. I would totally recommend Mandalay Bay to anyone! So happy!

This is the 3rd time that I'm staying at a MGM Resort and it has been a recurring practice to assign me the worst possible rooms at the time of checking in. It is only until I complain to the manager when I get a better room (one is an accident, two is a coincidence, but three is a plot). I spoke with other fellow travelers and they had similar experiences with this chain. Aside of this nuance, the hotel facilities are very nice and well maintained. The resort fee is charged at the same rate even when the beach area is closed (I think it is unfair). In general the relation price-value is ok.
