do not travel or stay at planet hollywood on the first week of the month. this is the time that the miracle mile does their monthly alarm test. most everyday we were there we had to deal with this LOUD and ANNOYING sound. we could hear it in our room, on the 33rd floor. This hotel does not live up to its hipe. yes it is in a great location. however you sacrifice customer service in the process. in our one week stay, we rarely found an employee who know even simple information about the casino or hotel they worked in. we were always referred to "guest services". and here we found even less information. all they wanted was for us to take 2 hours of our time to show us a condo we coulnd't afford. and when we asked for a manager or some kindof supervisor we were given the runn around. Every resturant and bar, as well as the nightclub and "guest services, were independently leased. these people acted like they worked for the casino and hotel but coudn't even tell you where the bathroom was. for a resort that just opened its doors not too many years ago. this place feels worn down. rooms were just ok nothing special. HDTVs but no HD signal, cold and dark rooms, and very unhelpful staff. As a person who has visited this city many times and stayed in many hotels along the strip. i can honestly say that unless i was offered a free room i would not visit PH again. choose wisely folks. there are alot better places to stay and for far cheaper.

Definitely a place for the younger crowd. Staff was always available and very friendly. Room was clean and never heard any other noise, great mountain view. Plenty of food and entertainment to choose from 24/7. The location of the hotel is ideal being centrally located on the strip. This was our first Vegas trip and we will stay at the Planet Hollywood again!

One of the best newest places on the strip. As Las Vegas locals we just went down for a night to get out of the house and were pleasantly surprised. We have stayed at many of the resorts in town and this was by far the best experience so far. With a free room upgrade and complimentary bottle of champagne (which is not typical) this place is great. Some of the rooms have a view of the Bellagio fountain show. Everything is nice and clean Location is right in between all the MGM properties and the Harrah's properties. The miracle mile shops are rather nice too.

I choose this hotel mainly because of the great location on the strip. Overall, I was pleased with my stay, however; the room was lacking in a few areas. For one, the lighting was horrible. You could barely see what you were doing. There was also VERY little storage for your clothes (only 2 dresser drawers). The room didn't seem very clean either. There was dust and streaks on all of the glass. The TV took a few minutes to turn on and sometimes didn't turn on at all when you pressed the power button. I would consider staying here again just because of the great location, but I would also check out the surrounding hotels even if it means paying a little more money. On the upside the casino is a lot of fun at PH! And they have a 24-hour restaurant.
