    We have stayed at Dreams twice in the past 18 months, the hotel is clean and fresh. The help is outstanding and the food is just fine, with plenty of variety to choose from. many activities to keep you busy or just do nothing by the pool or beach. Close to everything in the Hotel Zone and 2 great beaches. The Dolphins are a very cool addition and we could not find much to complain about. We would and plan on returning soon.

    overall, the hotel was great. Excellent service, friendly staff, great food. I was a little dissapointed with the size of the pool, it could have been a little bigger, but atleast it was clean. Fresh towels were available throughout the beach and pool area. The beach was a little smaller than expected. Service by the pool and beach was excellent, the waiters brought us our food and drink rather quickly. The restaurants were nicely set up and clean. The hotel was litterally within walking distance of all the major night clubs and shopping centers (coco bongo's, bulldog, daddy O's, hooters, etc. etc.), but also far enough that you won't be bothered by the noise and traffic. The lagoon was a little dirty and sometimes had a little smell to it, but watching the dolphins every morning was preatty cool. Room service came by atleast twice a day to replenish towels and make the beds or to pull down the sheets at night. The free mini bar in our room was constantly replenished. 24 hour rooms service came in handy when coming back from the clubs with an appetite!!! The private balcony area was a nice touch to the room. Wildlife was abundant throughout the hotel, including the dolphins, fish at the beach, hermit crabs, and large iquanas that roam the grounds. There was nightly entertainment offered. I would recommend this hotel. The airport is about 20 minutes away, and Xcaret was about an hour drive. We really enjoyed our stay.

    We loved staying here! The twice daily turndown service made it easy to keep things clean (lots of sand on things). The pool was a little small, but the swim up bar was nice. Everyone was very helpful.

    For me, Dreams was a delightful place to stay while in Cancun. I must have read hundreds of hotel reviews and the majority were positive. Don't believe the negatives! Dreams is not a new hotel and they do not cater to 19 year olds that want to get drunk. It is a family friendly resort with excellent service at a great location in the hotel zone. Rooms could be updated slightly, but we didn't go there to stay in our room. That being said, we stayed on the 3rd floor in the pyramid building. We booked the cheapest room available and received this free upgrade upon arrival. Watching the dolphins below us was quite a treat. I do recommend this view. The beaches were gorgeous and food and bar service was tasty, prompt and plentiful. Please tip these folks! They work hard every day so you can have a great time. If you want a good value with great service, don't hesitate to book here!. It is not a 5 star, but a great place to spend a few days. A solid 4 star in my opinion. I had recently stayed at the Gran Caribe Real and it beat it hands down.

    This is our 2nd stay at Dreams and we are planning to return next year. We are very picky on the type of hotels we stay in and have traveled all though Europe, Hawaii and Mexico. The only fault we have was that the rooms are basic and the bathroom was very old, and this was in the upgraded Club section. However, the housekeepers worked very hard to keep the rooms extremely clean and even neatly folded up clothes which made it easy to ignore the fact that the room was basic. They just started renovating the rooms and lobby which is definitely needed. Now for all the good stuff - The hotel was being cleaned constantly inside and out. For an all-Inclusive hotel, the restaurants were all top class. The staff in the Sea Side cafe was exceptional, delivering drinks happily all day long, and in Oceana, provided 5 star service. All the staff really deserved to be tipped well as they worked so hard and were so pleasant. Even the athletic staff who arranged the sports, really went out of their way to talk and make you feel welcome. They would even arrange evenings out to local clubs with all guests welcome. We would definitely recommend this hotel, it has something for everyone, if you just want to sit on the beach and be pampered all day with drinks and food bring brought to you, or if you like to join in all the fun at the pool with games organized all day, you just cannt go wrong. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!
