    This hotel and vacation far exceeded our families expectations. The staff was friendly, polite and courteous. The restaurants had a variety of foods and they were never over crowded. Each evening the World Cafe had a different theme. For example, Mexican, French, Italian, Caribbean and some had shows that followed the theme. The Mexican show was Fantastic! My kids loved the Explorer's Club and begged to go back every day. Camping night was the most fun for them. They set up a camping theme by the lagoon, ate dinner, watched a movie on the projection screen as they lounged on the chairs and they even roasted marshmellows! The beaches were breath taking and there was plenty of room for everyone. We did not feel over crowded at all. The best part? The dolphins!! Talk about angels on earth. Their energy was beyond beautiful. Cancun and Dreams has captured our hearts.

    This hotel and vacation far exceeded our families expectations. The staff was friendly, polite and courteous. The restaurants had a variety of foods and they were never over crowded.     We have three younger children, 12, 7, and 6. This was our best vacation yet. We enjoyed every aspect of Dreams. From the rooms (overlooking the dolphin lagoon), to the beach (gorgeous turquoise water, with a lighthouse on the point), to the food (good to very good, with something for everyone), to the attentive service from the staff. We would highly recommend Dreams for family stays. This was our first trip to an all-inclusive, and it will not be our last. The freedom from having to pull out your wallet every meal, or every time you order a drink, is very refreshing. We paid for the vacation in advance. When we arrived to check in, I gave the clerk my credit card. I was told I wouldn't need it, that there were no incidentals. And it was true. Food, drinks, kayak/canoe rental, floats, rafts, etc., were all included. Short of buying souveniers, it was a cash-free trip. The only off note was on a side tour we booked through the on-site agency. There was a "drunk naked guy" incident on the bus ride home, which was a bit disturbing, given my children's ages. The tour agency was largely non-responsive, and non-apologetic. I'd suggest booking any side trips through another agency, one more responsible. Of course, that was not Dreams responsibility. I throw that in only as a warning to other families. As for Dreams itself, we had a wonderful time. It is a great resort, set in a beautiful location, with a very attentive staff, excellent service, and good to very good food. Try the Seaside Grille (adults only, so drop the kids off at Explorer's Club) for an excellent meal. Four stars!

    We took our 13 y/o nephew for his birthday and had an amazing time- it was perfect, not crowded, great staff, fun things to do ( ocean trampoline, water rock climbing, kayaks, snorkeling) He loved room service ( menu selection for room service could be improved good food, small selection- loved the steak) . Breakfast was the best at the World Cafe - Very family friendly - beautiful surroundings and easy to access other activities - parasailing, dolphin swim, concierge very helpful and room was comfortable,clean ,service was excellent - I'm not a beach person but I had an amazing time - consider some of the outside tours to Chichen Itza, Chikin Ha, Excaret - it was the trip of a lifetime and we would highly recommend this hotel -

    There were 4 of us that went here for vacation. We had an excellent time there and was hard to think about leaving. Very safe enviorment, staff was extremely friendly and willing to help out. Two bartenders there, were the best I have ever seen. They kept you laughing and drinks were never ending. Always had a smile and good conversation, and always remembered our names. I would recomend to stay here when in Cancun. Shopping in the city around the resort was fun and interesting. Our viewfrom our rooom was beautiful as can be. We overlooked the wate with the gazebo in front of us. Every day there was a wedding. Just an awesome place to go to, highly recomended.
