The Camino Real is a great Hotel, their staff is always willing to help and with a great attitude. I feel in a safe environement, their security are polite. Their rooms are really confortable and the Hotel has great restaurants. So yes I will say is really an excellent and safe hotel with great satff.

Hotel has the best clean food options hands down, normally the hotel is very accomedating and high end service. I booked a king bed suite and upon checking in was given a double bed room located facing the main roads. It was very noisy had to use ear plugs asked to be moved to a quieter room and was given a room on another busy street. Normally I stay here when the rates are good but I was definitely disappointed with my room. Restaurant choices and bars are excellent and highly recomended. Make sure you book a interior facing room if you want a good night sleep.

Extremely expensive to make a simple local phone call. The price was $4.40 PESOS PER MINUTE. For cell phone calls was like $16 PESOS PER MINUTE. On top of that there is phone call prices are not written in any place. Everything regarding this subject is given to you by phone. There is no free wired or wireless internet. It is a feature now in many hotels in Mexico City and all over the world. I used to be a Camino Real Polanco fan. You lost me. I am not planning to come back any more.
