I honestly can say it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Vegas. The rooms were very clean and well kept, not to mention in close walking distance of EVERYTHING. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

  • Great Hotel for the Price

Offer siad I would get two buffets free. What they don't tell you is it is only 20 dollars each and is for breakfast only. I didn't find out till I checked out. I did the diner buffet and ended up paying th e difference for two people. Premium view is only a higher level view. You have a choice of pool or strip view but you need to know this at the time of reservation. Again no one said anything about this and when you check in it is most likely that the room will be the least desired view. Price was well overpriced for what you get but I will say the room was comfortable and the bed was very nice. Shower was outdated. My overal rating is a 4 out of 10 with 10 being the best. I do like Mirage but felt I got cheated by the subtle surcharges and false advertising or lack of reading the small print in the details such as having to pay for wifi and pool which I didn't use another 56 dollars. Diner buffet was horible. Would not eat this again even if the price was cheaper. Lesson learned.

  • Staff was polite, but smoke was awful, and room was never "just right"

It had been a few years since I had been to Vegas and since most places in Texas cities have gone smoke free, I was overwhelmed by the smell of smoke everywhere we went. Ugh. I know I'm "prissy" about this, but many people don't care, so it isn't an issue. The staff was nice about our rooms as we had a bachelorette party next door the first night and they moved us, then we had a huge rust stain on the bathtub and it didn't drain, so they moved us again. Finally in our last room, the TV didn't work & the AC was having problems, but we didn't want to move...again...so we just sucked it up, opened the widows, and figured we weren't there to watch TV anyway. They could definately use some updating (not on decor, on mechanical things). It also has terrible insulation and you can hear everything that happens next door & in the hallways. We were awakened every morning (early) to the housekeeping staff banging doors and cleaning the rooms beside us. Not what you want after a night in Vegas. The great thing is that it is located close to the hotels with outdoor shows & has one itself. We enjoyed the TI pirate show, the volcano at the Mirage, and the fountains at the Bellagio and we had easy access to all three. And the staff is nice. I usually don't complain (I know you won't believe that after this review) but at this hotel, there were several things I just wasn't willing to deal with. But, the great thing about Vegas is that there are plenty of other places to stay!!! I wouldn't say I would never stay here again, but I sure won't be rushing back. It was ok, but nothing special.
